The Naturehike Yunyan 25L rucksack is an ultra-lightweight, foldable rucksack for hiking, travelling and everyday use. Its 25-litre capacity provides space for a jacket, water, snacks and other essentials for a day’s outing, but after use, the rucksack can be folded compactly and stowed in a travel bag or a larger hiking rucksack. It is a practical choice as a spare bag for day trips and exploring the city.
Naturehike Yunyan 25L rucksack: a lightweight rucksack for day trips
The body is made from durable 30D nylon with a silicone coating. The material’s 2000 mm PU waterproof rating, taped seams and coated YKK zips help protect the contents from brief showers and splashes. It is not a fully waterproof bag: in prolonged rain, or for electronics and documents, it is advisable to use separate waterproof packaging.
The main compartment can hold clothing and larger items, whilst the front pocket provides easy access to small items. The two elasticated side pockets can hold a water bottle or an umbrella. The breathable shoulder straps help to reduce heat build-up, whilst the simple design keeps the weight to a minimum. To make the rucksack more comfortable, place heavier items closer to your back and avoid sharp, exposed edges.

This model is designed for light day packs, not for carrying heavy loads on multi-day hikes. Before setting off, check the zips, seams and shoulder strap adjustments. An even weight distribution helps the rucksack fit better against your back, but it is advisable to place items you need frequently in the front or side pockets. When hiking, also leave some space for a layer of clothing that you may need to take off during the day and stow in your rucksack. Keep a small first-aid kit in a separate, easily accessible pouch.
