Rules governing the processing of personal data of natural persons (data subjects):

BT Noma, SIA (registered in the Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia, reg. no. 4010358928, registered office: Martas iela 9 – 1, Riga, LV-1011, Latvia) (hereinafter – “BT Noma”), is the Controller which complies with the requirements of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 in Latvia.

This Privacy Policy sets out how “BT Noma” processes personal data when our services are used. This policy applies to all processing of personal data that SIA BT Noma collects from websites, email lists, contracts and other sources.

Purposes of data processing:
DATA is processed for the purpose of administering the mutual relations between the parties in connection with the services provided by the COMPANY, issuing and delivering invoices, to facilitate the booking and payment of services, as well as the booking of security measures, in order to pursue the COMPANY’s legitimate interests, whilst respecting the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject. Should the COMPANY wish to, or should there be a legitimate need to, process DATA for other purposes, the consent of the natural person (data subject) to such DATA processing will be sought in advance.

Access to and storage of DATA

DATA is recorded in service contracts. DATA is recorded in the COMPANY’s accounting software and service management systems. DATA is protected against unauthorised access, and its use is monitored in accordance with the requirements of regulatory acts. Access to the software, and consequently to the DATA, is restricted to those COMPANY employees who require it to carry out their duties and to provide services properly. Access to the programmes is protected by secure passwords. DATA will not be transferred outside the European Union/European Economic Area (EU/EEA) unless this is necessary for the technical protection of the data.

Disclosure of DATA

THE COMPANY is entitled to disclose DATA to law enforcement agencies, tax authorities and supervisory bodies, based on a lawful and reasoned request from an authority or public official.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

DATA will be retained for the duration of the service contract. Following the termination of the contract, the DATA will continue to be retained for a period sufficient to comply with the requirements of legislation.

Rights of the data subject

Natural persons have the right to inspect DATA relating to them that has been made available to the COMPANY, request that it be corrected, deleted or supplemented where it is incorrect, and prohibit the use of their data for purposes not related to the provision of the COMPANY’s services.
