“ZG TRK GTX WMN” – these are durable and reliable shoes that mould instantly to the foot and provide an excellent fit, thanks to four zones of padding of varying thickness. Features of this model: an upper design that reinforces and supports the lateral ankle area, an anatomically shaped heel section that ensures a more precise fit and stability whilst walking, and a toe area with protection against wear and tear. The sole consists of a dual-density polyurethane midsole, which provides support and stability whilst offering cushioning and lightness, as well as a ‘Vibram®’ outsole from the XS TREK EVO range.
Upper: Made from water-resistant leather, with a stitched tongue, ‘Flex Point’ and a water-resistant elasticated fabric rand. The 3D TPU toe cap provides protection at the front, whilst the TPU ‘Heel Tension’ system ensures stability and rigidity in the heel area.
Lacing: The newly developed ‘Speed Lacing’ system is fitted with two-part fasteners made from lightweight steel and plastic. The progressive lacing system is divided into two parts: the lower section, with its lace locks, allows the laces to be moved quickly and the fit of the shoe to be adjusted instantly with a single movement; the upper section is fitted with lace hooks that separate the tensioning zones and ensure even and gradual compression around the ankle, guaranteeing a comfortable fit without pressure.
Lining: The GORE-TEX ePE membrane offers outstanding performance and durability, ensuring waterproofing and breathability. The PFAS-free coating, including a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish, reflects a commitment to the responsible use of chemicals whilst reducing the carbon footprint (in accordance with Higg MSI requirements).
Sole: The ‘Salix Trek’ sole, developed and created by SCARPA in collaboration with ‘Vibram®’. A durable sole that adapts to varied terrain, with a dual-density PU midsole that ensures maximum comfort and lightness. The outsole is made from ‘Vibram® XS TREK’ rubber.
