Designed for summiting peaks over eight thousand metres, as well as for Arctic treks and in extremely cold conditions, these boots are characterised by outstanding lightness, compact size, a precise fit and a balance of maximum freedom of movement. The PHANTOM 8000 THERMIC HD was developed in close collaboration with the legendary mountaineer and ‘Scarpa’ ambassador Nirmal Purja. They were put to the test during the first winter expedition to summit K2. These mountaineering boots are manufactured in Italy, in the town of Asolo.
The 8000 rubber, made from S-TECH Schoaller, an environmentally friendly material, is Bluesign™ certified and PFC-free, and, together with the ‘YKK®’ zip and heat-sealed reflective strips, ensures complete waterproofing. The integrated heating system in the lower leg and sole sections includes a 3-mode switch, two power packs with a connector and charging cable, as well as a pair of additional heated insoles.
