Durable mountain boots with a sturdy sole. The ‘Manta Tech GTX’ is an excellent combination of modern technologies that guarantee lightness and durability. Perfect for walking over challenging terrain – from rocky and gravelly paths right up to mountain ridges – as the sole’s properties ensure excellent grip and durability. The lacing system, featuring metal eyelets and cord locks, secures the foot and provides a sense of stability. A rubber protective strip running around the entire perimeter of the sole protects the feet from impacts, whilst protecting the boots themselves from friction against the ground and premature wear. The rigid sole is suitable for fitting semi-automatic crampons.
Upper: ‘Perwanger’ suede, 3 mm waterproof. The ‘EXO SCARPA’ ankle padding provides good support, and the boots feature an ergonomic cut-out at the top.
Insulation: The ‘GORE-TEX’ (Duratherm) membrane ensures waterproofing, warmth and breathability. Insulation that is 15 per cent lighter.
Insole: PRO FIBER XT 20, EVA layer + compressed non-elastic base layer.
Sole: PENTAX PRECISION XT SOLE – a functional sole design comprising PU fibres of varying densities and TPU heel inserts, as well as a ‘Vibram’ rubber outsole. MONT rubber insert for rock climbing and Via Ferrata routes.
