The Naturehike Star Trail™ EXT 1 is an exceptionally lightweight and compact single-person hiking tent, designed for travellers who prioritise low weight and minimal pack size. Fully kitted out, it weighs approximately 0.87 kg, whilst its minimum weight is just 0.78 kg.
The tent features a single Y-shaped frame with a semi-freestanding design, ensuring quick and easy pitch. The frame consists of two Yuksom® EXT aluminium poles with a diameter of 8.7 mm. The tent can be pitched in around three minutes.
The inner tent is made from a fully covered 10D breathable nylon mesh, which ensures good air circulation and protects against insects. The raised central section provides more head and shoulder room, making it more comfortable to sit inside the tent.
The outer flysheet is made from ultra-lightweight 10D nylon with a PU1500 mm+ waterproof coating, whilst the floor and the included footprint mat are made from 20D nylon with a PU3000 mm+ coating. This ensures reliable protection against rain and damp.
The inner tent measures 210 × 100/80 × 100 cm, whilst the outer tent measures 220 × 150 × 105 cm. The vestibule, with a volume of approximately 0.45 m³, provides space for a rucksack and footwear.
When packed away, the Star Trail™ EXT 1 takes up just 13 × 45 cm, making it easy to carry in a rucksack. The tent is suitable for hiking, trekking, bikepacking, mountaineering, fishing and cycling trips.
