The boot’s raised upper, made from oiled nubuck leather, provides reliable protection against water and mechanical damage, whilst ensuring a comfortable fit. Mesh inserts on the upper increase breathability, keeping the foot dry during intense activity. The waterproof GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane ensures optimal conditions inside the shoes, protecting your feet from the rain whilst maintaining adequate breathability.
The ACTIVfit system ensures a precise fit, guaranteeing comfort and stability on hikes. ACTIVimpact Technology cushioning absorbs vibrations and impacts, protecting the feet when walking on uneven terrain. The unique, patented ‘Presa® HIK-04’ sole provides excellent grip and stability on varied terrain. The EVA foam insole provides adequate cushioning and support for the foot. The grooved sole offers additional grip in a variety of terrain conditions. Furthermore, the boots feature a built-in ‘Recco’ transmitter, making it easier for the emergency services to locate you in the event of an accident.

Upper: Water-resistant 1.8 mm suede + mesh.
Built-in ‘Recco’ transmitter: a thin metal plate coated in plastic, weighing just a few grams. It enables people buried by an avalanche to be located quickly and effectively. ‘Recco’ is extremely durable, requires no power, and only ceases to function if mechanically damaged. Rescue services have a detector that transmits radio waves and ‘searches’ for the transponders.
