The hardness of the alloy is approximately 61 HRC.
8,5 cm blade effectively cuts natural and synthetic ropes.
The handle of the knife is made of polyamide filled with glass fibre.
This guarantees high resistance to impact, water and extreme temperatures.
A whistle is built into the back of the handle and works in all weather conditions with a power of 110 decibels. The whistle has a range of 300 metres.
The product is equipped with a Virobloc safety lock. It was invented in 1955 by Marcel Opinel.
