How do they work?
As soon as the outer packaging is opened, a natural exothermic reaction takes place between the iron powder and the oxygen in the air. Salt helps speed up the process, while activated carbon dissipates the heat generated by the reaction. In just 5 minutes, the heaters can reach a temperature of 50 degrees. Vermiculite acts as an insulator and helps maintain the temperature for up to 10 hours.
Toe warmers have a sticky surface on one side and can be easily stuck inside shoes to provide heat exactly where you need it.
