SANDVIK STAINLESS STEEL
Made of Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, which ensures excellent strength and durability of the blade.
HANDLE
The handle is made of beech, the wood most often chosen for Opinel knife handles. Imported from France, it is hard, durable and easy to handle. Its uniform appearance with a light tint varies from yellow to pink and is characterised by the presence of tiny dark streaks.
SAFETY GRADEN
1955. The Virobloc safety ring, invented in 2007, is fitted on all Opinel folding knives from N° 06 onwards. Made of stainless steel, it has two parts: one fixed and one sliding. This allows the blade to be locked in both the open position (for safety during use) and the closed position (for safety during transport).
