Made of Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel for excellent strength and durability.
The handle is made of beech, the wood most often chosen for Opinel knife handles. Imported from France, it is hard, durable and easy to handle. Its smooth appearance with a light shade varies from yellow to pink and is characterised by the presence of tiny dark stripes. The blade length is 8,5 cm.
The Virobloc safety ring, invented in 1955, is fitted to all Opinel folding knives from N° 06 onwards. Made of stainless steel, it has two parts: one fixed and one sliding. This allows the blade to be locked in both the open position (for safety during use) and the closed position (for safety during transport).
